Article II – Membership

 

Section 1 – Membership

3) Membership term shall run concurrent with fiscal year. Two notices will be given for membership renewal at the start of the season via the newsletter or Email

4) (Each new member will receive a copy of the by-laws.) THE ATSC BY-LAWS WILL BE POSTED ON THE ATSC WEB SITE.

 

Section 3 –Voting

Each member, active or inactive, over 18 years shall have one vote; each business, one vote; each trail sponsor, one vote.  In the event of multiple memberships only one vote would be allowed.  WRITTEN PROXY VOTING WILL BE ACCEPTED, VIA HAND DELIVERY, US POSTAL SERVICE OR EMAIL

 

Section 5—Membership Meetings

1) All meetings shall be governed by Roberts Rules of Order. NO ALCOHOL SHALL BE CONSUMED DURING THE MEETING.

3) Members (should) shall be notified (in writing) VIA THE ATSC WEBSITE   at least one week in advance of general membership meetings.

 

Article III    Officers

 

Section 1   Officers

10 This corporation shall have four officers, President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. IN ADDITION ATSC SHALL HAVE (3) SEVEN directors. All officers shall be directors.

 

Article IV   Duties of Officers

Section 3- Secretary

2) Shall be responsible for their distribution to the membership in the form of a monthly newsletter AND OR EMAIL

 

Section 4 Treasurer

8) (Shall file a yearly tax return for the club) SHALL FILE A TAX RETURN AND OR ANY FORMS REQUIRED BY THE IRS

Section 3- Signage person

POSITION AND DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED BY SAFETY DIRECTOR

 

SECTION 3 WEB MASTER

1)      TO MAINTAIN THE ATSC WEB SITE

 

 

 

Section 5 Safety Director / SIGNAGE PERSON

PERFORM ALL CURRENT DUTIES OF SAFETY DIRECTOR AND SIGNAGE PERSON.

 

Section 6   Membership Secretary

50 Shall make out the appropriate yearly membership cards. (Send a copy of the by-laws to each member. Each new member will receive a one time mailing of the by-laws and club decal)

 

Section 10 State Trail Grant Program

5) It is the combined responsibility of the Trail Committee, Trail Master, (MSA Director) VICE PRESIDENT and President to compile the necessary information to complete the state grant forms for submission.

 

Article VI Budget/Expenditures/Appropriations

 

1)      Any expenditure of ($250) $1000 or less need only two signatures of approval.  They may be from any of the board of directors, Trail Master (or Trail Committee Quorum). Expenditures of over ($250) $1000 would need to be approved by the Board of Directors with the exception of grooming contracts.

 

Article VIII Amendments of By-laws

 

The by – laws may be altered or amended by a two thirds affirmative vote of the membership present (OR PROXY EQUIVALENT), with not less than 25 members voting. The proposed change must be brought forth to the Board of Directors and the membership at a regular monthly meeting or prior to in writing. At which time, it will be addressed and tabled until notification of all members through the next monthly newsletter. The vote on proposed changes will be taken the following month at the regular membership meeting. In the event of a by-law change, it will be printed in it’s entirety in the next monthly newsletter so all members will be aware of the change.
